It involves understanding each individual's unique goals, values, and circumstances to create pathways that align with their personal and professional aspirations.
As a Certified Life Purpose Coach, Career Development Facilitator, and trainer, Amanda is dedicated to guiding individuals toward work that adds meaning and value to their lives and communities, all while respecting personal boundaries and promoting a sustainable pace. Adapting to the evolving landscape of the post-COVID world, Amanda offers virtual appointments via Zoom. All appointments are via Zoom. I’ve adapted my techniques to the virtual space, doing collaborative visual brainstorming on Google documents, whiteboards, online inventories, organizers, and charts. I meet with people from around the world on Zoom.
I have a sliding scale between $125-$175 and you get to pick the price that works best for you! You pick what works for your budget.
Coaching differs from therapy. It is action-oriented, focusing on the present and future. During a typical kick-off meeting, I learn about you, establish goals, and gather your career and education history. From there, we outline a course of action. I assign homework as part of each session. I do not utilize a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I strive to be agile and responsive to each person’s unique needs.
Typically, I conduct around six sessions with individuals exploring career changes and needing assistance with career exploration. For those requiring guidance on job search strategies, the process usually involves fewer sessions, generally about four.
I ask that people give me 24 hours or more notice if they need to cancel an appointment. I have a $60 cancellation fee for people who fail to cancel in that that period of time or don’t attend a session.
